Overview

The Customer Service Representative ensures customer information and orders are entered timely & accurately, with great
attention to detail, while providing exceptional Customer Service. They use critical and logical thinking to analyze and provide
problem resolution. The Customer Service Representative works closely with the Customer Service Supervisor and their
team members to develop and maintain communication and relationships between Customer Service, Sales, and internal
departments.

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN (Hybrid - 3 days per week (minimum) in the office, subject to change)

Comp:  $22-25/hr DOE

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Order & Quote Entry - Accurate and timely entry of sales orders of various order types and Chemical/Reagent Quotes, for successful order fulfillment and invoicing.
  • Communicate effectively with Sales Team/Customer to collect needed information and update customer data associated with order entry to accurately enter or update a sales order.
  • Customer Support - Provide customer support and retention by answering & responding to phone, email, and web inquiries from customers, sales & internal teams in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize critical thinking, problem solving and confident decision-making to resolve time-sensitive issues, including lostaccount closure actions, open/pending order follow up and open return follow up.
  • Provide training or guidance to the Sales Team when appropriate.
  • Accurately enter and process all returns, credits and credit rebills including investigation and obtaining approvals.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
• Associates Degree or minimum of 4 years Customer Service or related experience.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills including exposure to Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Navision (or other ERP software experience) a plus
• Excellent order entry experience and attention to detail
• Experience with returns and return processes
• Bilingual English & Spanish a plus
