Kurita is looking for a Field Service Representative in the Boise, Idaho area

 

Managing projects and commission water treatment facilities that Kurita Microelectronics team provides before handover to customer. Engaging inspection test and factory acceptance test of off-site manufacturing of skid and modular fabricated at Kurita shop before shipping to customer site. (In addition, duties include referring technical issues to the manager and assisting with resolution. Travel to support new business and support current customers water treatment.

 

Comp: $75 - $85K 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise site work in place and comply with the safety rules of customer’s site.
  • Execute commissioning work with operation of equipment, replacement of consumables, loading/unloading chemical.
  • Act as the field sales support person on all microelectronic in the U.S.
  • Perform scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance of equipment and associated sub-assemblies as assigned to established guidelines.
  • Read and review SOPs ,blueprints, plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare for startup or service.
  • Build relationships with both external customers and Kurita America Sales Representatives and Supplier in a professional manner through solution-oriented communications and service, providing both on-site and telephone support.
  • Maintain good communication and work with engineering, project management, Equipment and Engineering Production, Field Sales, and management groups to resolve identified and/or escalated problems.
  • Complete all required service reports, repair records, warranty work records and maintenance performed records in timeframes and formats determined by Kurita America.
  • Properly document, process, label, and return all defective parts resulting from service or commissioning work.
  • Understand commissioning plan and correct the plan with Director’s approval.
  • Set and achieve goals to learn UPW and commissioning expertise proactively.
  • Interface with customers as necessary.
  • Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
  • Reviews and advises management on overall business conditions.
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisors for solution.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
  • Available to cover shifts as needed with proper notice as a backup operator.
  • Performance of other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

One year certificate from college or technical school; or associate degree in a technical field or equivalent is preferred or three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Must be able to travel 11%-49% of the time in the U.S
