Overview

Our Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments within Kurita. Interns will rotate through key areas such as operations, engineering, sales, and laboratory testing, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the water treatment industry. This program is designed for engineering students who are eager to learn, explore career paths, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Internship will run May 27- Aug 15 2025

 

Compensation- $20/hr

Local Travel: 50%

 

Responsibilities

 

Sales & Customer Support:

  • Gain exposure to client interactions, technical sales, and service solutions while traveling with our field sales team members.
  • Assist in developing proposals, presentations, and market research.

Laboratory & Water testing

  • Conduct water quality testing, data collection, and analysis.
  • Work on research projects to improve treatment processes and efficiency.

Operations & Manufacturing:

  • Learn about plant operations, production processes, and quality control.
  • Assist with inventory management, chemical handling, and safety compliance.

Engineering & Technical Services:

  • Support process improvement initiatives and equipment optimization.
  • Participate in system evaluations and troubleshooting.

 

Final Presentation

  • At end of internship, give presentation to leadership on highlights learned and clients solutions provided.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different work environments and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
