Overview

This role is to support our day-to-day Microelectronics procurement operations. This role will assist in sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment to meet project and production requirements. This position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in procurement who is ready to take the next step in their career.    

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing RFQ packages based on the engineer MCL (Main Component List) and manufacturing specifications. Send RFQ’s to approved suppliers and follow up to ensure timely response.
  • Review quotations to ensure alignment with engineering specifications.
  • Create and issue accurate purchase orders and reflect contractual pricing, quantities, and lead time expectation. Ensure POs reflect correct pricing, quantities, lead time and terms.
  • Monitor and track purchase order status and delivery timelines. Notify internal teams of any delays or changes in supply status
  • Help maintain relationships with vendors and address routine inquiries or issues. Work with suppliers to resolve minor discrepancies related to deliveries or documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality/inspection, and accounts payable teams to ensure alignment on procurement activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within each
  • Performs special projects/duties as assigned by procurement manager.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, ideally in a Manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • High level of accountability and integrity
  • At least 3 days/week work in office
