The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the 1st shift poly welding team. This role’s primary responsibility is to ensure safe and efficient operation of the welding team within a cleanroom environment.

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay: $30-33/hour

Location: Ramsey, MN

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to 1st shift poly-welding employees and contractors for cleanroom fabrication activities.
  • Ensure fabrication activities meet schedule requirements.
  • Ensure the work environment and equipment meet the needs of the employees.
  • Works both within and across departments to resolve fabrication related issues in an effective manner.
  • Provides quality leadership to 1st shift with a goal of zero nonconformances
  • Provides safety leadership to 1st shift team with a goal of zero recordable injuries.
  • Initiates and follows through on process and efficiency improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned by Production Manager.

Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in a production or supervisor role or a combination of related education and experience.
  • 1 year working in a production related supervisor role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of best practices for production environments.
  • Working knowledge of safety requirements for a production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
