This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving technical or design challenges, and is committed to producing high-quality work. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and production to support new and ongoing projects.

 

Title:  Junior Designer

Shift: Part-Time 

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Salary: $20 to $23/hr

Travel: N/A

Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and support the development of technical drawings, documentation, and project deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Assist in maintaining project schedules, tracking deliverables, and communicating updates to stakeholders.

• Prepare reports, update timelines, or design materials as needed.

• Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and problem-solving sessions.

• Support continuous improvement activities within the department.

 

Work Allocation

70% — Reviewing 3D models and drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and project requirements.

20% Updating and correcting drawing errors, including revising dimensions, notes, formatting, and document control elements.

10% — Performing miscellaneous support tasks, such as organizing documentation, assisting team members, and contributing to general project workflow needs.

Qualifications

 

  • Two year Associate Degree, technical field preferred.
  • Solid Works or Auto CAD experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

            Physical and Mental requirements:  Required to sit for extended periods of time.
